For those of you
that are buying a home we provide three types of inspections. The first two
types are to be performed before the close of escrow and the third is performed
when the home is about 11 months old. Please click on the embedded links below
to find out more about each type of inspection. The most common inspection that we perform is for people buying a home over 1 year old with one or more previous owners. Because this inspection is done on a home not being sold by a builder, we refer to it as a Resale Inspection. The purpose of this inspection is to give the buyer a better understanding of the home they are about to purchase. The second type of inspection that we perform for buyers is on new home construction. The New Home Construction Inspection is done on the completed building just prior to move-in, preferably before closing on the home. The third type of inspection for buyers is also performed on newer homes. The new home Warranty Inspection should be performed on a home that is 10 to 11 months old. This gives the home owner the information they need before the end of the builders 12 month warranty period. |
